Super Brothers is a platform adventure game in which the player controls two characters. The girl with the red hair can walk through the fiery lava, and the boy with the blue hair can walk through water. Both characters cannot touch their opposite element, so the brother must stay away from the fire and lava, and the sister must not touch the pools of water.
The characters can jump on top of each other’s shoulders to reach extra high items and to help each other cross the pools of lava and water. The player must help the two heroes collect the gems and the three keys to open the gate at the end of each level. To complete each level, the player must move both characters through the gate. The player cannot move both characters at the same time, but must switch between them to get past all of the obstacles.
