Time Witch is a platform puzzle game. The player must help the witch collect the colored gems. Each gem will destroy one of the gray bricks. The aim is to destroy all the gray bricks in each level. To reach the gems and set the moving platforms in motion or to stop them, the witch can slow down time or speed it back up again.
The witch can slow time down so much it seems like time has stopped entirely. Only objects that move very fast will still visibly move once the witch has activated her time-slowing powers. Once the witch has climbed the platforms, the player can tap again to speed time back up to its normal pace. This way, the witch can manipulate the objects around her and reach all of the gems.
