Atari Breakout is a classic Atari arcade game first released in 1976. The aim of the game is to break all of the bricks lined up along the top of the screen. The player controls a small paddle that can be used to catch the ball and make it bounce against the bricks. Hitting a brick will destroy the brick, and cause the ball to bounce back down. The player must prevent the ball from touching the bottom of the screen, otherwise the ball will be lost.
